Peter Dawson serves as Vice President/General Manager. Mr. Dawson is responsible for the general management and administrative functions of the company as well as the equipment fleet. Mr. Dawson’s previous experience includes working as Sr. Vice President/General Manager of Rodman, LLC and as Vice President/General Manager of the North Texas/Oklahoma District for Martin Marietta. Mr. Dawson has served on the Board of Directors for Oklahoma Aggregates Association and Missouri Limestone Producers Association. Mr. Dawson received a B.S. degree in Mining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 1988.
William Penz serves as Vice President–Estimating. Mr. Penz is responsible for the procurement of new business for the Company. Mr. Penz’s previous experience includes working as Sr. Vice President – Estimating at Rodman, LLC. Penz started his career with Rodman as a Software Technician and quickly progressed through a number of positions of increasing responsibility prior to assuming the position of Sr. Vice President–Estimating. Mr. Penz received a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Business Management from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1993.
Barry Rich manages the construction operations of the Company. Mr. Rich is responsible for all project management and field operations. Mr. Rich’s previous experience includes working as a principal and Executive Vice President of Rodman, LLC for 20 years prior to selling his interest in the company. Mr. Rich grew Rodman from a startup company with four employees to a company with over 1,600 employees that performed turnkey site development projects in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Mr. Rich has a strong background in all aspects of heavy civil construction projects.
Mendy McCann, C.P.A. serves as Chief Financial Officer and Controller of the Company. Ms. McCann previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Rodman, LLC and as the Corporate Controller/Treasurer until her promotion. Ms. McCann’s responsibilities included coordinating and managing the quarterly and annual audit preparation, performing treasury functions for all the operating divisions, preparing a monthly financial overview of the operations for management and managing the general ledger and cash flows. Ms. McCann also worked for Real Estate Value Managers, Charles Penzone, Inc. and Farmers Insurance Group in Columbus, Ohio. Ms. McCann received a BSBA degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University in 1994.
